How She Loves Me

We were on our way home and I had gotten two mosquito bites on my arm.  I asked her if she would help me by dabbing some hydrocortisone on my swollen, itchy mosquito bites, with a cotton swab.

She said, "I will help you.  I always help you.  That's how I love you.  It's one of the ways that I love you, helping you.  There are many ways I love you, and that's one of them."

*sniff*!

Then, she said, "and one of these days, I'll learn to help you with your work...so I can spend more time with you."

How is a heart supposed to absorb all of that sweetness!

Little Sayings

As we're laying down the freshly washed comforter on the bed...
"Ahhh, soft as a cotton ball..."

As we're in the car, getting a car wash...
"Fresh as a rose!"
