Sweet Song

Morgan was making up a song after bath and I thought it was so sweet...

Mommy's love, Mommy's love
She's with me all day
Mommy loves me
Daddy takes me to the park
I got to sleep all night
And Mommy and Daddy are in the other room (I always tell her that we're just next door, in the other room)

Problem Solving

I was putting Morgan to bed and she said I needed to get in the crib with her.  I told her that I was too big for the crib and she said "figure it out!"  Ha, she's trying to encourage me to develop my problem solving skills.

Baby Legs

My dad tried to get Morgan to put on a pair of Baby Legs, with her dress and she said she wouldn't wear them, because they're "for little babies".  Aw, my big girl...  I think I need to explain that they're just called Baby Legs, but just about anyone can wear them. ;)

In my day, it was Mary Kay...

Morgan saw a hot pink car, on the road, today, and she said, "Look, it's a pink car, like Taco Cabana!"

I told her that was funny and then she saw a pink balloon and said, "Look a Taco Cabana pink balloon!" and she cackled.

Questions

In the car, going to Rolling Oaks Mall:

Me: Do you see the white domes?

Morgan: Yes, I see them! ... What is a dome?

Me: It's a shape.  It's part of the structure of the building.

Morgan: What is a "stuchur offa building"?

Me: Um, see this part of the building?  It has a triangle shape, and that is part of the structure.

Morgan: But what is a structure?

Me: Oh, look, we've arrived at Dillard's!

Naked Face

Morgan stripped down to her pull-up to get ready for jammies and she said, "I have naked arms, naked legs, naked feet...and a naked FACE!"

She Loves Dolly

We got home from my parents' house and Morgan picked up Dolly off the floor and said, "I was at GrandDaddy's, but now I'm back.  I missed you!  I love you, Dolly!"
